INVITATION FOR REDEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS FORMER CAMBRIA COUNTY JAIL 201 NORTH CENTER STREET BOROUGH OF EBENSBURG, COUNTY OF CAMBRIA, PENNSYLVANIA The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Cambria is accepting written Proposals for the purchase and redevelopment of the following parcel of land located in the Borough of Ebensburg, County of Cambria, Pennsylvania: Disposition Parcel No. and County Map Parcel Location Description 24-04-108 Lot 1 201 N. An evaluation of ProposerÕs organization and its prior experience, 2. A financial statement from the Proposer, 3. A detailed description of the ProposerÕs concept of the redevelopment of the property and the financing of same, and 4. ProposerÕs timetable for undertaking the redevelopment of the property. Public Notice Pursuant to the Surface Mining Conservation and Reclamation Act, the Coal Refuse Disposal Control Act, the Bituminous Mine Subsidence and Land Conservation Act, the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection Rules and Regulations and the Clean Streams Law; notice hereby is given that Ebensburg Power Company 11 Lloyd Avenue, Suite 200, Latrobe, PA 15650 has made application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for renewing its existing surface coal mine permit and the related NPDES permit. The current permit 11020202 was issued on October 7, 2004 and will expire on October 7, 2019. This renewal does not contain revisions to the existing operation. The receiving stream for the permit area is the South Branch Blacklick Creek. The operation is located in Jackson Township, Cambria County and is known as Nanty Glo West. The permit area is situated on 48.2 acres. The site entrance is located along the south bound lane of Route 271 about 1/2 mile from the Nanty Glo exit of Route 22. The Nanty Glo quadrangle PA US Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map contains the area described. A copy of the application is available for public inspection at the Cambria County Conservation District office located at 401 Candlelight Drive Suite 229, Ebensburg, PA 15931.
